Stuffed Mushrooms

This is always a hit as an appetizer or side in our home. The mushrooms are full of flavor and easy to make. They can be prepared early and just popped in the oven when it is time to enjoy!

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 20-25 Minutes

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 1 Package of Mushrooms – White or Portobello (8 Ounces)
  • 1/2 Cup of Italian Style Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Cloves of Fresh Garlic (Grated)
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Salt (To taste)
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Pepper
  • 1 Small Tomato (Chopped)
  • 1/2 Cup of Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
  • 1/4 Cup of Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
  • 1/3 Cup of Green Onion (Chopped)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Granulated Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Tabasco
  • 4 Tablespoons of Butter (Melted)
  • 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil

Directions

  1. Wash mushrooms with water. Do not peel outside of the mushrooms! Pat dry with a paper towel. Remove stems and finely chop (Can use food processor).
  2. Spray oven safe dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In a bowl mix all ingredients together. Add salt to taste.
  4. Fill the mushrooms with the mixture and place in the dish.
  5. Place in oven for 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees.
  6. Serve warm.
